galwaypix.ie is the online home of Mike Shaughnessy photography. I have worked in the photography industry for over 35 years starting out as an assistant, then working as a darkroom printer before becoming a staff photographer with The Galway Advertiser Newspaper in 1989. Working as a freelance photographer since the mid 90s I gained vast experience in many areas of photography. I would describe myself as a people person and am passionate about telling stories through the medium of photography. Fortunate enough to have made my hobby a career I understand the relationship between client and photographer in making a successful business, my core business value is to exceed a customer's expectations, deliver exceptional images and offer real value within budget.
